Dear St. Constance School Families,
All are cordially invited to join us as we pray the Stations of the Cross tomorrow, Friday, March 24th at 2:15 p.m.
Please join the students at the regular 8:00 a.m. Parish Liturgy next Wednesday, March 29th.
Included in today's folder, please find information from the Archdiocese regarding honoring outstanding Catholic school employees through the Heart of the School Awards. The application for nominating someone can be found on the Archdiocese of Chicago Website, archchicago.org. and click on Catholic Schools.
As you know the 2017-2018 “Registration Form” (Application for Re-Enrollment) along with the $125.00 registration fee is due by Monday, April 3, 2017. Please note that there will be a late fee of $75.00 per family after the April 3rd deadline.
In addition, please make sure to read, sign, and return one copy of the Financial Commitment Form to the office no later than Monday, April 10, 2017. Book Fees will also be due by Friday, May 19, 2017.
We send our thanks to Dino’s Italian Restaurant and Buona Beef for their help in preparing fresh, special lunches throughout the year and for offering it to us at an affordable cost to our families. Please patronize them whenever possible. These lunch fundraisers help support monthly budget items, so we thank you for your participation. Trimester 2 lunches made a profit of $905.00 Gratitude also needs to be expressed toward the many families and faculty members who donate prizes and give time to serve at our monthly lunches. Have you been considering volunteering at a monthly special event? It’s a quick and easy way to get your mandatory volunteer hours and get to know other parents who are actively involved in our school. Join us next month!
Thank you to all who attended and supported the recent Pancake Breakfast sponsored by our Holy Name Society and School Board. A net profit of $1,013.00 was made and each organization will receive $506.50.
As mentioned in a previous communication, the children will remain outdoors until the 8:00 a.m. bell and go out for recess weather permitting. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately.
This is a reminder that tomorrow, March 24th we are having our Special Lunch and Raffle. Please make sure to send a lunch from home for your child if you did not preorder. There will be no regular food service provided.
Make sure to join in the fun at the annual Parish Ice Skating Family Event this Saturday, March 25, 2017 at McFetridge Sports Center, 3843 N. California Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60618. Admission will be $8.00 which includes pizza, and skate rental will be $3.00. Tickets may be purchased in the Rectory, School Office, Sacristy, or at the door on the day of the event. For further information, please contact Sr. Kinga at 773-545-8581, ext. 40.
Make sure to secure your spot at the school’s 100th Anniversary Gala to be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017. All are invited to join us for this special occasion beginning with 4:30 p.m. Mass, followed by a catered dinner from Porrettas Banquets and Catering, and dancing to the music of The Revolutionary Swing Orchestra for our 21 and over guests. Event tickets are $50 each and available in the school office or following Masses in Borowczyk Hall. Make sure to try your luck in the $5,000 cash raffle also. Raffle tickets are 1/$50 or 2/$80.
Time is running out for you to place your order for a Gourmet Delight Cheesecake. What a delicious dessert for your Easter celebrations, while supporting our 8th grade Class of 2017 Fundraiser. All orders and payment are due on or before next week Tuesday, March 28th.
Cheesecake pickup is scheduled for Thursday, April 6th at 3:00 p.m. in Borowczyk Hall. This week our thanks are extended to Mrs. Presz for donating her lunch duty earnings of $100.00 back to Grade 1, the Cymmer family for their donation of books for the library and puzzles /toys for preschool and primary grades, and the Osborn family for donating multiple games.
