Dear St. Constance School Families,

All are invited to our all school Christmas Liturgy next week Friday, December 21st at 10:00 a.m. Our first graders will be portraying the real meaning of Christmas.

You are also cordially invited to join us for the 10:30 a.m. Family Mass this coming Sunday, December 16th.

On behalf of Sr. Anna Strycharz and all the benefactors, I would like to express our thanks for all your kindness, generosity, and for your support of the Giving Tree and Baby Bottle Projects. We will keep you in our hearts and prayers!

During this Advent season and in preparation for Christmas, students in grades 3-8 will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation tomorrow at 9:15 a.m.

As you know from previous communications, the upcoming dates for the Tax Credit Applications are January 15, 2019 @ 7:00 p.m. for Empower Illinois SGO, and January 22, 2019 @ 8:00 a.m. for Big Shoulders SGO. We encourage you to apply with both SGO’s.  When the application windows do open, you will need to input the new, upcoming 2019-2020 Tuition Rates. (2019-2020 Tuition Rates are included in today’s folder). Registration for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year will take place Catholic Schools Week (last week of January), and will be due no later than March 1, 2019.

Mark your calendars and be sure to join the School Board sponsored Family Valentine’s Dinner Dance scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019. Great surprises are in store for you. Please watch for further information.

This is an early reminder that VanGogh Photographers will be at St. Constance School on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 to take 8th grade Graduation Pictures. Please plan accordingly.

Please make sure to join us next Thursday evening, December 20, 2018 for our annual all school Christmas Show under the direction of Mrs. Marie Blecka. Children are to report to their homerooms at 6:30 p.m. All guests are invited to go directly to the gym for the 7:00 p.m. performance. We kindly ask that you please stay for the entire performance and enjoy the hard work of the students. Please enter through the main doors located on Strong Street. Please note that this will be a free out of uniform day. Students are to look festive or per the directives of their teacher.

Thank you to the Home and School Association for hosting the very popular Lunch With Santa this coming Monday. We would like to add a special note of thanks to St. Nicholas himself and to all the many volunteers who will assist in making this a day enjoyable for all. Please note that Monday, December 17, 2018 will be a free out of uniform day. Children are able to wear jeans and appropriate holiday attire.

Please be advised to the change in the school calendar. Due to the recent snow day taken, school WILL be in session to make up this day on Friday, February 8, 2019. Please plan accordingly.

Save the date and join us for our next Family Night Out Fundraiser on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Please join us at Red Robin Restaurant, located at 4230 N. Harlem Ave., Norridge, Il. 60706 (inside the HIP) from 4-8 p.m. Please see the enclosed flyer for specific information. Hope to see you there!

This is to remind you that school will dismiss for Christmas break next week Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:30 a.m.  The Aftercare Program will be available from 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
