PRINCIPAL'S NEWSLETTER

Thursday Notes March 28, 2024

All are invited to join us for the weekly 8:00 a.m. Parish Liturgy on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Please make sure your child arrives in a punctual manner for the start of Mass.

Per the April calendar, there is a 7:00 p.m. 8th grade Confirmation meeting at St. Robert Bellarmine on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

I am hoping that all of you are doing your part in supporting our upcoming Walk-A-Thon that is scheduled for Friday, May 24, 2024. Several students have already brought in significant funds and have been awarded with the pop-up surprises. Please ask your extended family, neighbors and co-workers if they would consider supporting your child in this event. Every penny counts! Please do what you can to assist us in reaching our goal of $10,000!

Congratulations to our Volleyball Teams that won the City Suburban Catholic Conference Championship Games this past Sunday: 6th grade girls, 7th grade girls, and 8th grade boys. Well done!

Parents, if you need Financial Aid, the deadline for applying through FACTS tuition is Monday, April 15, 2024. Please adhere to this strict deadline, as opportunities are limited beyond this date.

As a gentle reminder, not everyone has returned their Financial Commitment Forms. These signed forms were due in the office on March 21, 2024. Please return these by Monday, April 8, 2024 at the latest if this is applicable to you. Also, please remember that your Book/Supply fees will be due by April 26, 2024 and the Technology Fee by May 31, 2024 through FACTS Tuition.

This is to remind you of the required 15 hrs. of volunteer service per family for the 2023-2024 school year. If you do not fulfill the 15 hours by April 30, 2024, then there will be a $350.00 fee assessed to your account. Please note that no partial hours will be accepted. You may begin your mandatory volunteer service hours for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year this May 1, 2024 thru April 30, 2025. Please keep in mind that you need to be compliant in your Virtus Training.

Currently, the greatest need is to assist our teachers in lunch duty/recess supervision. If you are able to volunteer in this capacity, please contact the school office.

Make sure to save the date and join us for our next Spirit Night Out to be held at Raising Cane’s on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Please see the enclosed flyer for specific information.

Enclosed in today’s folder, please find the April Calendar for your convenience.

Thank you to Mrs. Slowik for donating office supplies to the school and to Mrs. Urbanek for the office and classroom supplies. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Finally, please be advised that our next formal communication will be on Thursday,

April 11, 2024.

Wishing you a Blessed and Happy Easter!

Sincerely,

Eva M. Panczyk
